If your a single coiler the smok will be a better choice in my opinion. The mini comes with the better single coiler rebuildable head, I think it's easier to build on, but the one that comes with the the bigger one is fine.

I had bad luck with the RTA section of the TFV4 being kind of janky. I have the Bellus and so far I'm enjoying it. Much better flavor than the Smok.

With all the negative about SMOK, I bought the MINI KIT Tv4 21 bucks shipped, I bought mainly for the RBA SECTION, I will wait for the serpent to go down, it's 29.99 way over price LOL

http://vapingunderground.com/threads/new-tfv4-vertical-coil-rba.141246/

Best single coil option for the TFv4, that said, with the mini your tank will heat up FAST, so I wouldn't really recommend it.

For horizontal builds the single RBA is a bit lacking IMO, wicking has to be precise (though there is a method but requires more consistent re-wicking to prevent leaking from cotton degradation).

If the choice is Mini TFV4 vs Bellus, I don't own a Bellus so I don't know. If you built a higher ohm vertical coil on the TFv4 and ran it at lower wattage it may work fine, but I have my concerns. The Vertical high ohm is on my to-do list but being busy and having a long list of to-do's I haven't tried that yet (just horizontal higher ohm so far, .6-1.1Ω). The mini disappointed me a bit with it's heating issues, no one likes to burn their fingers when they touch their tank. So I use my mini on higher ohm lower wattage options... mainly MTL for more public settings. I'm a big fan of the TFv4 series, the full size I vape at 150w on an altered single coil RBA setup and it's fantastic. Surely a great setup with the option to pop in a premade coil, but I have my doubts about it being in the top RTA categories, more of a hybrid option.

Again I don't own a Bellus so I don't know how that handles a single coil, but I can offer my criticism on the TFV4 with a lot of experience.

As far as I'm concerned the TFv4 best suites someone who wants to build their own coils but wants the option to plug in a premade if the need arises (like I did not long ago going on a business trip before I could dial in a new coil build, pop in the quad coil and I was good to go). The premades are expensive, and the RBAs take some experience and maintenance to prevent leaking. I will say I can get a week out of a wicking on my vertical build but that took some modifications to the deck and is suited for higher wattage that the mini can't seem to handle. The horizontal builds I replace the wick every 2-3 days otherwise leaking will likely happen as the cotton degrades and gets clumped breaking the "vacuum".

I love my TFV4s so don't take this as complaints but rather criticisms that I think it fair to warn people of. It's a great tank with a lot of options, but it's not without it's issues.

Single RBA is great in a vertical setup, Dual great provided you rewick regularly, Clapton RBA (RCA) I don't trust as the wicking is even more fickle than the other two. Prebuilt coils are amazing with plenty of options but they'll hit your wallet hard on both juice consumption and initial price [I haven't tried the TC options or high ohm options, just clapton (best flavor at 80-90w), Quad (best clouds, solid flavor, but requires high wattage, 110-140w), Triple (nice mix between flavor/clouds requiring less wattage, 80-100w) and Sextuple (not much different from the triple honestly, but better at lower wattages, 70-90w) along with all the RBAs]

So there's my feedback on the TFv4, I love it, but I feel it just may not suit everyone's desires. I wish I could give more feedback on alternative options but I just don't feel like dropping a few hundred on gathering up all the competitors when I'm so happy with what I have. I run my two TFv4s (mini and full size) and I'm perfectly happy with them, aside from my curiosity to try other options I don't really feel any desire to expand.

Here's what I think,

TANKS ARE TANKS, they are not to replace a RDA, the mistake a lot of VAPERS fell into is that, they want to replace a rda with a SUBOHM tank, SURE, the sub ohm tanks now a days blow some THICK,DENSE,FLAVORFUL CLOUDS, but in order for a VAPER to achieve those, they have to VAPE it @80-100 watts, 550 degrees 100 JOULES... WHOA!!!!! TANK IS HOT
If I want to blow some cloudz, I USE a RDA .15-.2ohms CLAPTONS 60-80 watts no burnt hands, no cotton degrading, no vacuum problem just straight drip suck

VAPERS wants to blow clouds on the GO and i get IT!!!,driving, work, etc...ME?????
I just don't do it. IMO
Sextuplets, triple, quad coils,SOUNDS NICE RIGHT? Pricing?? Of COURSE they will want you to replace those coil heads it's buisness!

Leaking? It will happen, especially if you VAPE and suck on a tank so hard because you want to achieve those thick dense clouds, yup, that is and always be the biggest problem with sub ohm tanks... others will say I NEVER HAD PROBLEM WITH MINE, I get it dude!!Sometimes you get defective products but most of the time,it's how you VAPE it!!
SOT can VAPE high VG juice or THICK JUICE???,I WONT DO IT, another contributing factor why this tanks leak, and get gunky, I will use a 50/50pg blend or what they call TANK JUICES...

quads, triple, sextuplets sounds great... not really!! It's all a gimmick......

there's a reason why the early adopters still VAPE the KAYFUNS AND THE TAIFUNS.. Because flavor is amazing on both TANKS.... Cheaper and less issues!

RBA
you have to know what you are doing on this decks.. You can't just put anything there,YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT UR DOING I can't emphasize it enough!!

I have the original sub ohm tanks
ARCTIC
HIGH VOLTAGE
MATRIX
HERKALES
(Collecting dust)
I VAPEd this bad boys around 40-45 watts I never had any leaking or burnt taste or anything like that but again like what I said I don't use this tanks if I want to VAPE BIG CLOUDS i go to my rda!! IMO
I don't buy everything I see, I stop doing that 2 years ago..

I will see what SMOK MINI TFV4 do for me,, and I am really anxious to get my hands on thE serpent RTA by Wotofo. I won't buy it until it hits the 19.99 range, and NOPE I'm not gonna order it from China!!!
All my opinions and suggestions are based on my personal experience
I'm not an expert or claimed to be one..vaping is subjective and people/VAPERS are as well
With that being said

Thanks for you answer and suggestion, what i want is something like what u said flavourfull and small cost, and i'm not looking for big cloud, and yes i have a rda, freakshow mini it is. But for me i prefer tank cause its easier to vape in any occasion, and i dont like premade coil, to costy for me. For your prefrence i do like kayfun or taifun but i can't afford something as expensive and i dont buy clone, for me authentic product even the cheap 1 must be better. I'm also looking for serpent, ahe's deffinitely my type, cheap, and single coil. Btw sorry for my bad english.

Edit: the other reason i dont use premade coil is i do like building my own coil, feel like an art for me.

Just picked one up for the same price. What do I have to lose? I really don't have any interest in the premade coils, I can't justify the cost of them. But I'm looking forward to the top fill and seeing how the airflow is. I like my Kangers a lot, but I'm always willing to add another option to the lineup.

The are radically different the TFV4 is bottom airflow the Bellus is side airflow side by side same juice they taste and act different.
Better is subjective.. I will put it this way I use the Bellus most of the time my Smok is sitting in a box
