Hi all you Vapers. I was wondering if some of you had a chance to try the new tank system from SMOK the TFV 4 with the new RBA'S and Quad or Triple coils? It really coughs my interest but I don't want just to jump in would like if possible to get solid info on that system. So all and any of you please share your experience with me on this matter. Thankfull in advance for your time and input. :)

I've been using one for a while now. I haven't experienced any leaking with tri, quads, or the dual RBA deck luckily.

I prefer it with the quad coils or an RBA build. I get really good flavor and vapor production with the RBA if lower wattage is a requirement for you. I don't get any real flavor or vapor off the prebuilt coils until at least 85w but ymmv. I wouldn't recommend this tank with coils unless you have a 100+ watt mod. But that's just me.

Ni200 coils are on the way as well which may mitigate the wattage requirements with the SS coils but time will tell. They also have some other crazy coil configurations coming out that could be interesting.

Coil prices on this tank are crazy high at the moment. I've been ordering them from CVapor in China and have been getting a pretty good price and fast shipping for Chinese shipments.

ok so I am considering this tank and have some ?s for those who own it?
1. how much wattage do you need to run the triple and quad coils
2. how hard is it to build on the rba decks bothe single and dual.
3. are all the coils meant to be rebuildable or just the rba decks?
4. are the Ni200 and Ti coils available yet I can not seem to find them?

1. Minimum of 75w but flavor is best for me @ 85w. Ymmv.
2. Very easy. I went with the dual. Not as small as most tank RBA's and I run it around 55w dual coils with great cloud and flavor.
3. No. These are not rebuildable coils. Only the RBA is rebuildable.
4. No they are not available. The Ni is on the way but not available yet to my knowledge. They are on preorder on a few sites here and there. But I would just wait till they are released. Preorders are a pita and never guarantee you will get them earlier than just waiting till actual release.

The triple coil works fine at 50 to 60 watts and the vape isn't as hot. Mind you the flavor really comes out at 70 plus but if you're like me and like a cooler vape 50 to 60 works fine.

Exactly what I was going to respond with earlier but got caught up with work.

It's a personal preference thing. For me anything under 85w is just weak and not much flavor. But I like a warmer vape.

Same for the Crown tank. It will vape ok at lower watts but it gets going big time for me around the same 80-85w.

I prefer the Quad coil in the TFV4 because you get more ml's of juice available cause that Tri is a big ass coil. Not a crazy amount but 1ml or so makes a difference for me. Again just a personal preference.

Well I have both obviously like many Im sure. I was extremely biased towards the TFV4. I literally could not wait to get my hands on it and loved it when I got it. I vaped the hell out of it the first week and was really happy with the flavor and cloud output while getting no dry hits at all. It absolutely guzzled juice like nothing I have experienced with a tank before. But, the vape experience was a level above what I had been accustomed to with tanks so I went along my merry vaping way and was happy.

THEN, lol.. I got the Crown in later. Holy shit. For me, and this is a totally subjective opinion, the Crown is a noticeably better flavor experience for me with the .25 SS coils than either the Tri or Quad coil in the TFV4. Ive vaped it with the same juices side by side and for me I now use the TFV4 occasionally and the Crown is by far my go to tank. Ive had much longer coil life with the Crown as well in my experience.

I'm by no means taking away from the TFV4. The features and vape is great. I just can't get away from the Crown at the moment and its been a while now. I should have the Ni coils for the Crown by the weekend to try but I've really enjoyed the vaping experience with the .25 coils.

Im anxious to try the Ni coils for the TFV4 when they drop. Ive had great experiences with Smok Ni coils with the TCT tank which I still use often on the go with the IPV D2 & Evic VT.

Hard to say man. I mean I vape a lot of juice and never really kept track. If you vape the tank the way I do at higher wattages, say 80+, and tend to chain vape when you are home etc like I do, Ive gone through 15ml's easy with the tank. It's so easy to fill its hard not to just vape and vape and vape lol. Will prolly just have to try it and see, but I wouldnt be surprised at all if your consumption goes up.

I have been using it for a week with the quad and triple coils (the quad coils are better at delivering flavor, but have smaller clouds than the triple coil (I honestly thought it would of been the other way around)

If the industry was smart the top juice manufacturers would subsidize with tank, and make it $9.99 with $0.99 triple and quad coils, because it drains the tank at least 4 to 5 times faster than my subtank mini, and more than double my herkules, and crown.

Decent tank, but give me my dual coil crown any day, big clouds, big taste, and I haven't changed that stainless steel coil since I bought it.

Wick so the cotton sits just at the juice channels has worked great for me. Chaining with no dry hits at all.

well after using mine for few days now I can freely say that this will be my go tank for a while. Why?
All of the advantages that come with the TFV4 system are amazing so far. This tank is a BEAST in many ways you try it out, Cloud maker, Taste provider The RBA deck's are just Enormous, both single and double. You can run max VG all day long with no dry hit. Yes it's juice guzzler but may I ask IF I'M DRIVING MUSCLE CAR WILL I BE LOOKING ON THE GAS ECONOMY OR THE PERFORMANCE???? great top fill access. And also before I forget if you don't have device with a lot of power you're not doing any justice on this tank because bellow 72 watt on the tricoil or 82 watt on the quad you don't have nothing but scratching the surface of the potential, I took the quad to 150 watt and ohhh just the density of that vapor is insane. With all the rest of coil setup's they are coming out this is all around system that cowers one's needs even for indoor or outdoor vaping. Great job SMOKTECH claping hands!!!! That is my opinion about this system.... Keep Vaping On....

Got mine yesterday. Great flavor and vapor but mine leaked out the air holes over night using the triple coil.
I had the same issue upon first using mine... The problem was that I had over torqued the Coil and Tank too tightly. Once I opened it up, cleaned it and put it back together with a normal amount of pressure, it never leaked again.

The rubber seal at the bottom of the coil is easy to compress (too much) and this will cause the leak.

Can't say I've had any problems out of my tfv4. I switched back from an rda to it and have been beyond pleased. Only had it leak once and that was when a friend decided to use it like a damn blow dart tube.

Or melt, but some replacements are on Ebay now. I just now changed my 1st coil after 28 days of use and many tanks. Impressive!

Yes I own free ax stare it's a good tank. But my choice now is TFV4 and yes I ordered Ni and Ti coils max air

Loving the tank swwitched out for the quad coil and found that it produces better flavor but smaller clouds so i switched back to the triple.

That triple its cool, good flavour and clouds too. Been using that TF-S6 now, faster than ya can drink it consumes that juice, (sorry my bad english). But its cool, i mean taste and that cloud :). And no leaking at all. Ofc there are many combos of juices. But those tfv4 coils can suck pure tar :). Quad i havent used for for ages, bought new1, well gotta try that someday, first 1 leaked like a ( now self sencorship ;), well use your imagination ;).
