well, I have the boreas and haven't had much luck getting it to work well. I have the KangerTech subohm tank and top tank and its great except airflow and the coils are not what I'm used to anymore (i use RDAs 99.9% of the time now).

I want something with premade coils for days I just don't feel like dripping.

The tfv8 beast seems like a promising tank and it has a RBA if I want to go that route and comes with some pre-built coils... I have the wrecker g2 so I'm sure any coil for the beast will work fine.

So heres my experience. I had a poor experience with my TFV8. I know that most people love them, but I just wanted to throw my opinions out there.

Pros:
Great cloud production with decent flavor
Easy fill with no mess
Nice wide mouthpiece
Great airflow control

Cons:
RBA section leaked on me as well as my friends and others. Tried everything under the sun to correct this, but nothing worked.
Coils burnt out pretty quickly if they aren't ran high. The cotton is packed tightly

For my experience: Both of the glass pieces broke, the threads locked up to the point that they wouldn't unscrew with vice grips, and the RBA was basically a portal for a river of juice to flow.

I just wanted to throw my two senses in on this. Hope everything works out for ya!

Vape On!

black, I eventually will sit down with the boreas and figure out the wicking! that's been my issue is getting the wick just right.

I've got 5 on it!

I prefer the tfv8 baby to the dad, though I still want a flavorful cloud tank. I got an Arctic v12 that can use tfv8 coils. The Horizon ones, at least the 0.1, taste just foul.

Mostly using baby beast and herakles plus with newer 0.6 coil these days. Have a limitless plus too, mixed feelings.

I like the CloudBeast TFV8 so much I own 3 of them.
And own 2 BabyBeast tanks that are all in my daily rotation, with different flavors of course..love these Smok tanks, :)

I haven't owned a TFV8 but have built on the Rebuildable. There's quite a bit of room in it surprisingly. You really have to pack the cotton in the designated wells or it will leak badly. It hits like a champ tho! The pre made Coils they make for it (I believe I used the triple Coil inserts) are good but I heard they are pricey and they go thru juice quickly.

Coils are a bit pricey but with the money saved from not having to buy 4 cartons of Marlboro a month anymore buys ALOT of coils and juice ..and mods, tanks, etc, etc...lol

For sure! :)

I was smoking a pack and a half a day before I started vaping. I'll still smoke a cigarette every now and then when I'm out drinking, but I don't miss smoking on the reg every day. My Wife doesn't miss the smell of cigarettes at all LOL!

Since the TFV8 is considered a sub tank and not an RTA (even though it has an optional RBA head) I'm moving this to subtanks section.
