So far it's not producing the vapor I was expecting... I mean I get thicker/bigger clouds from my Griffin 25 and Herkales RTA-2..
Just got it today so maybe it takes a lot of time to break in the supplied .15 ohm coil ..least I hope so, lol

I like a warm vape, at 100 watts that .15 coil is just beginning to work...try to crank it up a little. If you don't chain vape it the tank won't become hot.

I typically use my noisy cricket with am rda at around 150 watts which is as warm as i can enjoy it. The v8 runs on my rx around 150 to 180 and works good. Need deep direct lung pulls to keep it cool.

I'm still having issues with the wicking on the rba. Don't wanna buy coils. What's the best tutorial for wicking this bad boy?

Just using the octo so far. Impressions after almost a month? Very disappointing. It's hit or miss every time I press the button on my RX200S. Sometimes I'll get wimpy cig-a-like wisps (using Insane's Bouncer) and sometimes I'll get choked out with a huge plume. It also gets very hot, very quick, like after 4 8-10s pulls. It's not the mod, works fine with Toptanks and Protank 4's in VW or TC. It spits a tone of very fine drops on those big hits, and this leads to tons of condensation collection in the drip tip. IMO, not worth it. I wanted the bigger tank, but oh well, guess I'll just refill my Kangers.

After finally cranking this bad boy up I'm really liking it now, lol
I'm currently running the .15 ohm T8 coil at 125w (recommended best range is 130-180w) on my new RX200s....Vape is thick, flavorful and not hot at all.. Just sayin, :)

If I turn mine up that high it throws out massive plumes of burnt vape and spits 6-12" (15-30cm) like a fountain. Second head because I thought the first one was a dud, same thing. It also isn't playing nice. Unless I ratchet it down, then back out half a turn, the resistance fluctuates from 0.12 up to 0.38. Probably I got a bad one, but the flakiness of this (and other Smok products I've bought in the past) seriously prevents me from trying another one. Also making me gun shy about other Smok products.

Tell me about it. In theory, for me, it's the perfect tank for the RX200S. I haven't given up on it, but I am kind of close if the other heads don't perform.

You are all crazy for suggesting to turn it up pass 100W and i am stupid dam ass for taking you up on it, just went for a puf @100W with the rba @ .29 and than i decided to turn it up to 150W on my Asolo and boy o boy i think the lady next door went to call the fire department, needless to say i managed to empty my tank in 5 minutes, she`s a chuchu puffing cloud machine, way too hot for my taste since my normal daily setup is 53W max.
Other than that still prefer the TFV4 octoplet or the Grifin or Ijoy Tornado.10-4

It is a good tank for my RX200s..
But so is the Herkales RTA-2 and the Griffin 25..
The cloud beast indeed blows massive clouds but uses alot of juice..and I'm not too happy when it comes to buying those expensive replacement coils..But both of those RTA's vape great, wire and cotton is under $10 and good for a least 75 builds, a long time...just my 2¢, lol

Love mine! I have four of them. Yes, they tend to get hot and I vape at a very low wattage, around 60-65. I prefer a cooler vape and anything past 65 is way too hot for me to handle.

If you are having issues with less flavor but you are getting decent vapor production, I suggest you close the air flow a bit. It might lessen the vapor production but it really helps with the flavor issue. A lot of this is also dependent on the VG of your juice and the coil. I like both the octo and quad, but I prefer the quad a bit better with lesser VG juices. I've found if you are using a higher or max VG, the octo is ideal if you turn up the wattage.

There is one problem I've encountered with the octo, it tends to burn out on one coil and I get that dreaded dry hit taste. This happened the other day and when I took out the coil I noticed that only one of the top coils was black and the others were normal color and it ruins the whole coil. However, that is the only shortcoming I've had.

I know the coils for these bad boys are expensive, however, the price seems to be dropping a bit from when they first came out. I buy mine on Ebay and get a pack of 3 for $11.99. They are authentic, I made sure of that the first time I bought from the vendor.

ThankS for honest reviews-
I also hear the stainless is preferable than the black-
I didn't get it.
I'm waiting-
I might just grab the cleito RTA instead
