I was on Smoktech's website and was parroozing it and saw a picture of the Xcube II and next to it a photo of an Xcube II mini (75w). Didn't think much about it until I looked for it again and could not find it..wanted to link it here. Am I missing something, this hasn't been announced yet has it?

well
with the price of the full size xcube dropping to below $60 on many sites. its gonna be hard to justify the mini version price wise.

plus they are pimping tehir soon to be released treebox mini which I have seen on preorder for about $50. I was excited baout the treebox till the xcube prices fell.

so i fI buy one it will more than likely be the full size xcube for a few bucks more so I get the bluetooth, upgradeabilty the LEDs and the huge fire button.

and if they were to release this cube mini it would need to sell for about $40 in my mind to get that one instead

You're missing the sales pitch....
The proposed mini offers all of the functionality of the XCII minus a battery and half the power output.
This piece of kit is aimed towards the folks that prefer a smaller device and would probably never see a build capable of pushing 160+ watts.
The market is there wether you feel the opening price is worth it or not.
Get used to it bub...'tis the way of the vaping world.

Well the mini is going to drop in price aswell, even though the chip and electronics is the expensive part of the mod so don't expect any huge diffrences.

hey - i know people will buy the mini
im just theorizing as to why there slittle mention of the mini anywhere except one presale page on vaperoyalty

but there is plenty of info on the treebox.

my point was, maybe they originally were going to do the mini and opted to go with the treebox instead for some of the reasons i mentioned. Smok seems to definitely set themselves apart from the rest of the crowd. bluetooth, the first non dna200 to do ss tc, the tfv4 and its millions of coil options etc.

so instead of just doing a mini version of the xcube maybe they went with the wood look and switched their focus to the treebox
