SMOKING ADDICTION, A VESTED INTEREST AND THE TOBACCO CONTROL GOAL

Very true, the people who are employed in tobacco harm reduction make their living off of people addicted to cigarettes and the taxes they provide. They have no incentive to help people find a safer alternative to smoking because it won't pay their mortgages, nor keep their kids in private schools. Instead a multi billion dollar industry with Big Pharma has been created, churning out psychoactive "medicines" to stop smokers from smoking, but in reality it's a big biological experiment with lots of test subjects getting their brain chemistry fucked with due to medications like Chantix and others. Big Tobacco wins, Big Pharma wins, Governments win with huge taxes. The ordinary citizen loses, loses money in taxation, loses their health due to smoking and then due to poor pharmaceutical drugs to stop them from smoking.
The devious bastards in Big Tobacco, Big Pharma, Government, and Anti-Smoking NGO's don't care about life, nor the public health. They care about money & power and nothing else.
