So was jw if anyone else has seen this and if so your thoughts heres the ft link: https://m.fasttech.com/p/3579700

From what iv found out about it is its a control temp mod. The mod has a set temp/volt and can be chaged by adjusting the ohm. Alot of people might not dig this but my current vape style i never change watts and sence i rebuild i can get the ohm where i like np.

This little thing really seems to have about everything the air holes look decent sized, rba, topfill and runs on a 18650. I asked for pics of the rba and topfill on there fb page but im guessing the rba is subtank style. Also i figure the 18650 wouldnt be to hard to switch out after 6 months or so. The kicker is 44$ +fs wana see if anyone can talk me outa this but think im set.

The listing does not say anything about the mod having Temp Control that I can find. The interesting thing is that the included tank does come with a Ti coil ... which will be useless if the mod doesn't do temp control. Personally, I would pass on it and look at other mods ... What exactly do you want in a mod?

Do you have a link? I did a quick google search, and looked at what I thought was the Smokjoy site, and could not find any reference to TC. I could have missed it though.

Okay, thank you for the link. I am going to point out something that you need to be careful with in the future.

That mod does NOT have temperature control. It DOES have temperature protection. These are two entirely different things. According to the instructions in that link, they refer to temperature protection as "Temperature Control" which is for protecting the battery from overheating and exploding. Temperature control is actually used to sense changes in the resistance of a coil and keep the temperature of the coil/wicking at whatever you set it to.

I don't know if it is the poor english translation, or if it is the company trying to trick someone into buying their mod, but either way, it is misleading for them to use the term temperature control for the purpose of protecting the battery from over discharging or over heating.

You may see other mods listing it this way as well, so just make sure you understand the difference between the two. If you have any questions at all about it, post them here in the forums before you make the purchase.

HTH!
