SMY SNDA200 - worth it or SnowWolf or IPV3 Li

I bought a Cube II and it has be OK using it for VW mode. I started to dip into TC mode and so far it has been a pain. I bought it to use in TC mode as well as VW. It just has some aspects to it that I am not that happy about with it.

So I am going to sell it along with my subtank mini. I will just use my m80pro again until I find something else. I was looking at deals out there and came across some good deals on some mods. The ones I have been looking at are the IPV3 Li and the Snow Wolf. However, I found the deal on the SMY SNDA200 coming in at $115. I know if I snagged that up I wouldn't need to get a new mod until that thing died. I just didn't know how good this device is even with an authentic Evolve DNA200 chipset.

Should I look at the SMY SNDA200 or one of the others? I have always just been using kanthal but now I am changing over to 430 stainless steel. I don't plan on using Ni or Ti, probably only SS. So which of the mods would work best? If not any of these three, what are some options out there?

Forgot to include that I was looking at this mod as well: http://www.ecig.com/hohm-wrecker-151w-tc-box-mod.html

Thanks for all opinions in advance!

For Stainless there is no doubt the DNA 200 is best but to be honest I am not a fan of the Xcube II I have one and it works fine with SS surely I can make much finer adjustments with the DNA 200 .. Also battery life is an issue with most DNA 200 mods mine does not last all that long and it has a 1300MAH LIPO my LI lasts close to twice as long .. I was not a fan of TC until I got the DNA 200 and it works great but you will have to hook her up and set up profiles on the computer there is no way to set which wire you want etc directly ....
If I was you I would keep the Xcube II for VW and maybe dig into the DNA200 for its TC IMHO

Sounds like a plan. I keep getting Temp Protection on my cube II. I am on firmware .93. Not sure what the deal is with that. Going to mess with it tonight and see if any of what I have read last night and today do anything for me with it.

Is that SMY SDNA200 any good? Or should I just wait for deals on the other ones?

In all honestly man I have had so many issues with the Xcube with it even working have the time that its now just sitting around...
but if its working man use it for VW .. I myself man feel after using all the wires that Stainless steel is the way to go

Yeah, I want to run my 430 stainless.

Which you think that SMY SDNA200 is a good mod or should I look at something else? What would you recommend for TC? I wasn't trying to spend a lot of money, especially after just getting that cube II but I don't want to get stuck again with a limited functioning device.

I only saw two videos available, one in English, the other in German. The English version didn't give much insight, due to being a "quick look at...". However, the German video was a little bit more informative. Some major points from it were, the 510 connection is like all the other SMY's 510 connection (not really the best). He utilized a Mutation X V4 on it, which didn't sit flush with the mod. In addition, he measured the true battery's capacity by utilizing the EScribe software's built in battery tester, resulting in a value of 16.05 Wh. If I'm not mistaken, that is a capacity of 1445.95 mAH per cell. He also mentioned, the battery was able to carry him through the day, having been vaping all (work) day, off and on, at 80W-100W.

I dicked with my cube 2 last night and finally figured out the trapeze act to get TC working... so I am going to hold out and wait on the prices to come down or some holiday deals to drop and pick up a dna mod.

Thanks for all the help and insight everyone!

Thats the smartest thing to do man... I have spent a fortune on DNA 200's and even though I love them the pocket fuck was worse than anything

No doubt, I have been wanting one but have been having my house fixed up to sell. Reason why I got the cube 2. Can't wait until I can pick up a dna mod and not feel like I need snuggled afterwards!

And all in all man we lived quite well long before the concept of TC was out and in fact I am vaping on a DNA 200 without TC for the last few days so surely it has not broken me and I could have grabbed any mod to do VW it was just handy and I was too fucking lazy to take my preffered tank off the DNA 200 I am sure you get my drift :)

Yeah, pushing Smok down on the list a bit... enough to buy a different brand next time around. I wanted to grab up a Sigelei TC mode or the IPV3 Li but then I found the deal on the Smok for half the price. I know better... if it is too good to be true... there is a reason for it. Like a dumbass, I took the bait and got. Nice device for VW but a PIA for TC. Thankfully after finding a coefiicient chart online for 430 stainless and some other tweeking, remove atty, fire box to get atty error, screw atty back in all the way, and then fire again, choose new coil, and test fire. Thankfully it works now. Even bounced in and out of TC mode, turned off and back on, and finally removed batteries and let sit, power back on and TC mode still works. So I guess I got it working... see what happens when I change to a different coil and RDA. I can go back and forth with my Subtank Mini in VW and my Freakshow in TC no problems. Should be good but time will tell.

Thanks again for talking this out guys!

Yeah, I about just ordered one of those yesterday. They have them on some pretty good sales right now. Still very tempted to pick one up. Just the Cube for VW and the Sig for TC. I just started TC this week. So trying to find out what makes it so special. I do like being able to pull the trigger and not get any dry hits, but after learning how to wick properly I lost that issue in VW. I haven't really noticed a difference in flavor yet, but I only have a cheap loose wrap build of 430 stainless. In the Freakshow, sleeper coil so one long wire with 8 wraps on either side at 2mm wrap diameter.
