Yeah, it does seem like they could have put a lock function on the watts. It is pretty standard these days to be able to lock them. Not sure why they didn't do that. Overall though, for about $60, it seems like a pretty fair mod. Thanks for your answer. I could have done without the "puff counter"....but there are many ways besides putting the mod in your pocket that will change the Watts. They really should have made a way for us to lock the Watts.
You're right, it's a real decent mod! I love mine. But it's hard to understand how in the world they think that a puff counter is more important than being able to lock the Watts. Go figure.
It doesn't have anything to do with how much you are going to change the watts. It has to do with them NOT changing when the up/down buttons are accidentally pressed. I pocket carry my gear, and having to continuously readjust the wattage because it changed in my pocket is a bit of a hassle. Locking in the setting would prevent that from happening.Realistically, are you really going to change the watts by much, if any? I've never locked a mod in my life. It's one more inconvenient step. I've had a couple mods change a tick or two, but nothing I couldn't solve instantly. Personally, I think a lock and a puff counter are useless.
