Snap Crackle Pop ! On Claptons

Hey guys,
Semi noob here.
So I built some coils with fused Clapton wire 32/28g dual coils 6 wraps on a velocity (tobecco) and vaping has become a very painful experience
Hot juice flying everywhere, crackling, popping and burning of fragile tastebuds.
I've searched the Internet and found only 1 similar post here that really didn't close.
I've tried different types of wicking ( less cotton/ more cotton), I've heard more power !!! ... Ran my mod up to 70watts and it was louder crackling and pops!
I heard Clapton coils are supposed to be awesome
So it's most likely me
You guys are awesome at advice. Please Help!

Perhaps try some cellucotton, you can pack it in the coil tighter, the snap crackle pop is usually air between the wick and the coil.

Cellu Cotton: I'll have to look that up.
I've only got Japanese cotton and Rayon

Yes, it's rayon, but you can pack in the coil fairly tight and still wicks well.

I use rayon myself. Know @TLSmoak said they'll try it. Only presenting another satisfied user of it. It does really well. Think once it is tried many convert to the Holy Church of Rayon.

All my juices are High VG. At least 70+

I did the Scottish roll that I looked up and the symptoms are a lot calmer. Still there tho. I'll wick some Rayon tonight and see. But is everyone that uses Clapton coils wicking with rayon?

I use rayon - you need to stretch it out a bit so it's fairly tight in the coil!

Just an update.
I rewicked the same coil with the scottish roll and rayon and the symptoms have all but gone.
So far so good!

Perfect...after switching to rayon, I would't bother with cotton anymore....the shit just wicks like hell and lasts 2-3 times longer.
