On Friday, August 7th, Amazon will premiere the pilot episode for Sneaky Pete, a con man drama executive produced by Bryan Cranston and House's Howard Shore (who also serves as writer) - free to watch for Prime members on Amazon's Instant Video platform.
If Sneaky Pete sounds at all familiar to you, it's because it was actually developed for CBS, who passed on the pilot this past May. Sony TV brought it to Amazon where it'll play and, subject to viewers' feedback and votes, possibly move on to series. Cranston makes a fun guest appearance in the pilot as "crime boss who seeks to harm 'Sneaky Pete'," but really this is Giovanni Ribisi's stage.
