So this is more of a problem with solution thread as I noticed a lot of posts like this on the internet. After sorting through some, I found the solution.
On the bottom of the snowolf is a small pin on a spring on the edge of the battery compartment. It looks kind of like the tip of one of those cheap disposable ball point pens, but a bit smaller. lol roughly the size and shape of a chocolate sprinkle. On the cover, there is a metal lead connecting this to the batteries.
To resolve this issue, use a pin or needle or small flat jewellery screwdriver and gently lift the bit on the battery cover very slightly. about 1/2 mm should be lots.
This should resolve the issue.
