So lost with Smok AL85

I quit the cigs got a smok al85 and loved it for first week.
Now it seems something has gone amuck. I've been to 2 local vape shops with no help.

The strength of pulls seems significantly weaker. I have changed coils twice. Now have a triple coil?

My other big issue is juice running out quickly. I fill the tank and within 22 to 27 puffs on meter, it's empty. Is this normal?
Setting I know are a personal choice, but a good base line to start with would be helpful. Currently running at 55w on normal setting.

I would appreciate any guidance to keep me going and cig free.

Not familiar with that mod, but I know it takes one 18650 battery.

What tank are you using?....did you buy a kit, meaning the tank came with the mod?

What ohm coil are you using?...the ohm rating should be written on the side of the coil.

Welcome to VU....hopefully someone with experience with that setup will chime in....:vino:

What atomizer are you using and what is the build? Can you do a build with a smaller coil using less watts? Smaller coils use less juice.

Press the fire button 3 times quickly and you'll end up in smok's menu settings, or you can hold down the fire button as well as the +, either way opens the "strength" setting. Here you can choose between soft, normal and hard. Change that and see if that's what you were looking for, by default its set to hard, maybe you changed it on accident etc.

I do assume they still sell the baby beast tank with the al85 and since its not stated otherwise here, I'll go with that assumption. The tank comes with 2 coils, (Q2) 0.4 ohm and 0.6 ohm. The 0.6 ohm coil can easily be run at 25+ watts, I wouldn't go above 38 tho, which will use less juice. Any other smok coil needs more watt and also sucks the juice like no tomorrow.

Only way to fix that is either a) get a different tank b) switch to the higher ohm (lower wattage) coil, c) get the Rba deck for that tank or switch to rbas in general, however since you still getting used to vaping or/and your mod, I'm not going into detail here. Hope it helps.
