SOI Legendary or Shorty Cleaning

Hi there! I own a copper Legendary and take it out to clean it every three or four days when I see that the patina on it has just gotten just god awful. I polish up the externals and the floating pin with little to no effort.BUT my only problem with cleaning it is cleaning the contact that makes a connection with the positive end of the battery. I had been using pencils with erasers to reach through the tube and attempt to clean up that contact. I know I can pop that contact out with a ratchet piece but im wondering if theres an easier way to clean it.

Hmmm. My contacts on both the legendary and shorty are silver, I don't clean them. I have read about ppl using ultra fine emery cloth to buff them tho.

I own a shorty, I've cleaned the tube, and rda sleeve a couple times now but my contacts are always nice and clean I do have the silver contacts and they haven't needed any maintenence in the 2 months I've had this mod. It's a very nice, well crafted mod(I have the knurled in copper) and it's a heavy hitter.

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies! I have the old copper contacts installed in mines. I actually picked up a silver clutch contact but haven't worked up the courage to bang the old one out of the mod and then bang the silver one in. I just might do it later this week, because its the biggest pain to clean.
