Frictional Games, the team behind Amnesia: The Dark Descent, has revealed the release date for SOMA, its upcoming deep sea horror game: September 22, 2015 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
The official website for SOMA launched an ARG earlier in the week, dropping a series of hints in the form of images, videos, and then a countdown, all leading up to its latest trailer.
SOMA's 12-minute long gameplay trailer shows off more of the underwater research base where the game is set and gives us a good look at the horrors that lurk there.
The footage we see here is from an hour into the game, according to Frictional Games' blog. The level can also be approached differently than what's shown in the video, meaning enemy encounters can sometimes be avoided.
