SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hi, I'm sure everyone gets tired of people asking the same questions over and over but I honestly couldn't find a straight answer. My question is what does the different gauges of kanthal mean? I have 28 gauge right now but I'm not entirely sure what it means. I'm also curious on how to sub ohm build... Like I know that's a very general question but I just don't fully understand how everything works. I can wick fine and I know what cotton to use but I just don't understand the concept of the difference in kanthal wire.

The gauge refers to the thickness of the wire. The higher the number, the thinner the wire.

OK stop whatever it is your doing.....do not do any builds until you
1) buy an ohmeter
2) get some education on batteries, as low sub-ohming can really put a dangerous strain on batteries
3) go on Youtube and watch at least 20 videos on begining coil building
