Something not Evolv,FSK or YiHi?

I was just wondering if there is any very good mod that is not Evolv,FSK or YiHi? A good board with the proper features and a well built mod? The RX200 comes to mind but anything else? Maybe with 2x18650? Of course I always go with those brands but I was wondering if anyone else makes a good mod just for my knowledge.

Sigelei 213 uses a proprietary board and is a good performer but does get inaccurate close to 150w.

Personally i stick with evolv almost exclusively, other than those I do use mechanicals, and occasionally a joyetch or provape mod.

Minikin V2, Aspire Archon and the Coolfire TC all have good boards in them. The only one I own personally is the Coolfire and the tc on that chip is smooooth. Wish they made a dual 18650 version. The Minikin V2 is next on my list.

Asmodus has some good stuff out, but they also have a lot of expensive ass fuck limited edition & stabilized wood stuff out also. The LE snow wolf's are still v1.5 so nothing new other than cosmetics.

smok has some nice mods like the alien x-cube ultra, and hpriv
I also (so far) like the smoant battlestar and it's only 31 bucks. It's like a better quality version of an RX200
Personally I don't recommend wisemc/joyetech mods as I'm not a fan of their quality. too many issues
Smok is probably the best brand IMO for the non premium mods. But the battlestar is worth a look as well so far. Still need to spend more time with it but it's built really nicely. puts the rx to shame

My smok xcube 2 has been rock solid and was the first mod i had that actually worked with 430 SS at it's proper tcr very solid and nice mod and because the original is quite old you can get a good bargain on it making it even better.

EH not really lol. I have a lexus is250, infinity Q50, and a nissan titan pickup truck. The lexus and infinity are much nicer then anything nissan/toyota puts out, but to be fair the maxima is nice in it's own right.

i know they are the same company lol but the "luxury" brands are IMO nicer and classier. and they have more of a "status" symbol.
FWIW I'm in a similar industry and know a lot about cars. Also do all my own maintenance. I know toyota/lexus/nissan/infinity really well. Most of my friends are mechanics. I'm not saying toyota makes a bad car, i actually think lexus is overrated IMO. not so great performance for it's price point. Still feels like a nice step up form the toyota brand. same with infinity. Also the same way people didn't know that the dodge charger and Chrysler 300 were practically the same car lol.

When it comes to chips my best advice to any vaper is find what works for you. Try out different mods and boards. Don't pigeon hole yourself into a specific anything. Variety is the spice of life. Get out there and try new things. This market changes so fast. What you liked last year is not what you like right now. What you like right now probably won't be what you like 6 months from now. Last year I couldn't build a coil. Now I only use Rtas. For the new year I promised myself to try DIY. Last year I wouldn't have thought of that. Vaping is a journey, enjoy the ride.

So I was asking if there was a chipset that finds it's way into cheaper mods that is nearly equal to the aforementioned ones. Just tired to always spend $150+ and then the mod fails while the chip is still going strong.

This is more like BMW quite frankly or even Audi. The performance is top notch but you do not want that when the warranty is over.

BTW, the most expensive Toyota is a Toyota not Lexus. Land Cruiser. Also the finest Nissan is not an Infiniti it is a Nissan. GT_R Nismo. In fact I think I am going to get that pretty soon. Great quality,smoking fast and goes in snow! What more can one ask for, for $130,000. No seriously the RS7 is more money and in three years will start falling apart. Plus not even as fast. The Q50 RS is very nice too but it is not Godzilla!

Guy's we do not need to get into an argument. Some of you read too deep into my question. It was a simple question. "is there a capable board in a cheap mod". Period. It is just a question. Check out the J150 by sigelei, even though sigelei is fucking up, I still pick em over other Chinese manufacturers... please don't disassemble the damn thing if you ever get one!

Not trying to disagree so if u take it that way I apologize. Maybe something got lost in translation. Sometimes I have a hard time trying to understand what you post so u apologize for that. I'll try and be more carefull in my words.

Plenty of mods perform just fine cheaper. Mods like xcube ultra alien and hpriv from smok. The ipv5 from p4u all under 50 bucks. The g2 has been selling under 50 as is the slice at times. There are dna mods under 150 for sure. I just got a finder 167 for 104 bucks. The dna 75 mods can be found under 50 at times as well. Smoant Battlestar is nice at 31 bucks. That's off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more as well. As long as your happy with a mod and it keeps u off cigs it's a good thing. Like u said you don't need a BMW to get to work. A Toyota does the same thing at a fraction of the price.

From an engineering and design perspective they may in fact be.
But I tend to agree with the statement that whatever is keeling you off smokes is The better board.
That goes for all mods. If its worming for you and you're not smoking, than great!
You also forgot about non tc boards like the oil chip in the hexhom 2. That okl board, is a great performer for wattage, with the added bonus of not being meant for vaping originally, so its fda proof
