I use a xtar mc2 charger and now both my cells have gone down to 0V i think they went to sleep, do u know how to fixThat may depend on the type of charger you own. My Efest will awaken over discharged batteries.
My opinion, they are dead, toss them.I use a xtar mc2 charger and now both my cells have gone down to 0V i think they went to sleep, do u know how to fix
Yeah must be and it wasnt 2 batts it was 3. They were working fine till i put them in my new wismec rx200 and then all 3 just went dead.My opinion, they are dead, toss them.
2.2V is fine and can be resuscitated, 0V is not. Sounds like you shorted the batteries. I wonder what happens if you put one in backwards or something with that mod, depending on how it's connected internally that could kill all your batteries.
I've placed the cells in the wrong way, on purpose, to see what would happen.......and.......nothing. The mod won't turn on, won't blink, won't chirp, nothing. Even if only one cell is in wrong, the mod won't turn on or anything, so it shouldn't be a result of that.
your charger may need to read a minimum voltage say 2.8 v before it starts charging to 4.2 v
Thanks for the advice, unfortunately though the battery's are completely buggered so I have just ordered some new efest batts, but thanks again.connect the positive of bad battery to the positive of a good charged battery
connect the negative of the bad battery to the negative of the good battery
that may bring the bad battery voltage up to the chargers minimum voltage requirements
in the unlikely event the battery is getting warm buy new cells
You should have ordered either Sony VCT4, if you want to go the full range of 200W, or Sony VTC5. I was tempted to order either vct 5 again or vct 4 but I got the efest as it was a great deal. You should have ordered either Sony VCT4, if you want to go the full range of 200W, or Sony VTC5. A reliable source for Sony batteries is from our friend above liionwholesales.com.
