South Park: The Fractured But Whole was the only game shown off at Ubisoft's E3 2016 conference that still isn't out. But with its October release date just around the corner, the developer brought the RPG back to E3 this year, and with it, a brand-new demo that showed off the game's humor, exploration, and new battle system.



We got to spend about 20 minutes hands-on with The Fractured But Whole. Here's what we thought.











I don’t know how to tell you about what I played of South Park: The Fractured But Whole at E3 this year without using words that have likely never been seen on IGN before. There’s a rhythm-based, lapdance mini-game in which you have to twerk and tap a button to fart on a man’s lap simultaneously, and that’s one of the least vulgar parts. In my opinion, that makes it a delightfully authentic-feeling follow up to an already on-point South Park game.
