That is an interesting idea that I must try! Glad I keep those two dead drives after all!...I took it to the extreme and used a motor from an old hard drive as a swivel. It's not very pretty, but it sure is smooth!

Found similar on ebay!Speaking from experience, Wal-Mart swivels ain't gonna cut it. You need an actual ball bearing swivel. They're more expensive but well worth it. This is what I'm using and it works great. I picked mine up at Dick's Sporting Goods. It was their last pack AND they were no longer going to carry them. I got lucky for a change...![]()
