I buy from Kidney Puncher: http://www.kidneypuncher.com/rebuildable-supplies/?sort=featured

Cable wicks start on page 4. They are non galvanized, 316 Stainless Steel, pre-cut specific to various genesis attys available in different diameters & lengths.

However, if Eric can spare you some from his 100 foot roll (damn, that's a lot of cable, was that purchased specifically for vaping??) might as well give that a shot if its the right diameter you need.

Once you get the right size cable, you really wont ever have to buy anymore again. These will last as long as your atomizer will ;)

I dont use SS cable anymore. I ran out, didnt buy more and kind of forced myself to learn how to do pure mesh wicks. For heavier VG liquids i started using #200 Super Fine, and boy that stuff is impressive and relatively easy to work with. But yeah, SS cable is of the best wicking materials out there, especially for genny newbies.

thus the reason why I have so much. I owned for a very short period of time a small vape shop. and now i'm left with a lot of SS rope/ cable

thanks for all the input guys, @Eric DeCastro that would be awesome. what diameter is it? if it is 2 or 2.5 it would be perfect. @KKen how do you find the flavor of cable as oposed to mesh? and would it be better to wrap the coil directly on the cable, or wrap frist then insert the cable

Depends on the atty, at least that's what I noticed. However, I'm not using just the straight cable, I wrap the end that I wrap my coil on with 400 or 500 grade mesh, so I don't oxidize the cable (only boil in distilled water to clean it before use) but only oxidize the mesh.

And yes, I pre-wrap the coil first as even and tightly as I can, then insert the wick, but make sure when you secure the leads, it goes in the direction that it will pull on the wire, not slack it (you'll know exactly what I mean when you mount it)

I found this way more often than not, I get an even glow right off the bat, so no need to fiddle with the coils when you pulse. Hope that helps some!
