Don't know what mod your using but yes always lock coil resistance in TC, whether it's SS, Ti, or Ni, at room temperature....

Same as me..if your using TC yes lock the resistance in SS mode..
Ive tried TC with the SS Crown coil coil and much prefer power (w) mode myself..I get better flavor and thick vapor at 65w than running TC..but that's just my preference...

Actually I don't run anything in TC, including the Smok on the right..

It depends on which mod you are using. Using the latest firmware version on the VTC I haven't had to lock the resistance at all for SS. I also never preheat the coils anymore. What mod are you using?

No, you do not lock ohms on a 200. And it has nothing to do with SS. Either your mod requires you to set initial resistance, or it doesn't. Read the directions for YOUR mod.

If you are asking if you should lock resistance on a board that allows you to... Well first, read the directions so you know why you do or don't want to do that for YOUR mod. And then, tell us what problem you are trying to fix doing that.

There is no one single board out there where everything works exactly the same. Sorry if I seem like a dick... I'm just getting a little tired hearing people say what someone should do like it's some universal law. It isn't. And it's been pretty rampant lately.
