Hey all, 1st post, I'm new to the forum and love it! Been vaping about 4 months, quit cigs the day I bought my 1st vape pen. Needless to say I've progressed rapidly into sub ohming. Currently have about 8 tanks, Kanger Mini's, Modvapa Mk1 and a Uwell Crown (AWESOME!) more of those on order, lol.
Anyway, since using the Crown and Modvapa, discovering what my juices really taste like with stainless I bought some 28ga 316L and tried it in the Kanger RBA. Every time it starts out awesome, then a burnt hit and it's all over Johnny. It's not the wicking, plenty of juice in the coil when I look. But tried more, then less, same outcome. I've tried so many dif builds, contact, spaced, I think it needs to be spaced, not sure. The last one was the best, 28ga, 6 or 7 wraps around 3mm came out to 0.85. Worked for about 1/2 hour, awesome flavor, decent clouds, but then came the burnt hit. Tried bringing it back to life with some hard draws, that worked, but only briefly.
What am I doing wrong? They gotta be spaced correct? Do you dry burn them? I have about 7 mods, 5 are TC and building with nickel is a breeze but they don't support stainless, that would be the ultimate and solve my problem!
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
Harley
