Disney and Lucasfilm also revealed the titles and directors of each short:

  • Sith - Rodrigo Blaas (El Guiri).
  • Screecher's Reach - Paul Young (Cartoon Saloon).

The first volume of Star Wars: Visions comprised of nine shorts created by some of the most influential Japanese anime studios, with stories detailing what became of the Jedi, a rock opera, and more, but for its second season, the show is looking to go even bigger.

In a statement, James Waugh, who is executive producing Volume 2 with Jacqui Lopez and Josh Rimes, reflected on Volume 1 and how it created a framework for celebratory expressions of the franchise that can be expanded with each new installment.

"With Volume 2, we expanded our canvas to take audiences on a global tour of some of the most talented creators from around the world," he said. "Every short is incredible, full of heart, scope, imagination, and the values that make stories distinctly 'Star Wars' — all while opening up bold new ways of seeing what a Star Wars story can be."

Star Wars has the engine thrust capacity at maximum this year with lots of new live-action and animation content on the way. The second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is currently underway, and The Mandalorian Season 3 is up next before Visions arrives in May.
