Anyone having any luck using SS316L mesh strips and temp control with this deck? This isn't my first rodeo with temp control & mesh, but I cannot for the life of me get a good vape from this thing. Weak flavor, minimal vapor, and considerably cooler than I have it set to. Juice is feeding into the wick good, nice and saturated. I've followed the wicking instructions to the T. Also, I'm using the mesh strips that were made for the Profile, the resistance is being measured fine and as expected.

I pulled the mesh I was using, and compared the length to one of the strips that was included, and it's a little bit shorter. So I cut a piece of VV spooled SS316L mesh, and I'm getting a good vape from that. I would think that wouldn't matter, but apparently it does.

The tip I got with the VV SS316L 200 mesh is to cut it at 17mm. My order for the VV specs above is still on its way from FT. I’ve been using the Kanthal that was given to us testers & it’s been great!

Is anyone using the mesh deck with SS mesh and a Hadron in temperature control mode? If so, are you experiencing a rapid pulsing once the mesh gets to temp? I am not noticing a pulsing when I use regular wound wire coils, and I also tried it on a DNA250C mod, and it does not produce any noticeable pulsing.

I think I answered you on SC FB. I haven’t used TC yet as my VV ss316L mesh 200 wire is still on its way to me from FT. Did you get an answer on FB?

TC is sketchy at best with mesh, YMMV...

Still waiting on my mesh deck to arrive, I think the turtle stopped in the Bahamas for a little rest from swimming. :wait:

I did not. I am currently using the plus with VV SS316L mesh on a DNA 250C mod and getting a decent vape from it. Going to try one of the included kanthal strips with it later, and power mode on the Hadron. TC on that mod is not very good IMHO.

I tried a strip with the Plus deck, it works well on the DNA. Originally I tried it on the Hadron, which unfortunately does not do TC very well at all.

Steam Crave really should have gone with an Evolv board for the Hadron. Replay would have been a game changer for their market, but cost would have been higher and TC users are a minority... I only use TC on my RDAs because I'm a lazy dripper/squonker. :giggle:

Well it looks like the mesh deck for my Plus didn't make the jump to light speed and is sitting in a mailbag at the Guangzhou airport in China... :(

Received my a week ago from 3avape
Just figuring the best wicking to use
Think I have it sorted now was having dry hits on it
Using a 15ml bubble glass with it

With mesh coils you have to have a lot of wick under the coil. Make sure it touches every tiny bit of the exposed mesh or you will get nasty dry hits. Unlike regular coils, mesh heats up instantly and if any of the wick has pulled away from the coil, that section will glow red immediately.

That’s what my problem was I kept getting a wphomp from it and boy did it stink coil was like a coal glowing
So kept trying so still am getting the odd red spot but nowhere as bad as before
Just sent away to my supplier for another steam crave v2 and the mesh holder

The Aromamizer Plus is Steam Craves best tank to date and I Imagine the V2 will be just as great. If you are looking for a smaller tank the Supreme V2 is a 25mm version of the Plus and is just as good, no mesh deck for it yet though.
