It now allows for twisted as an option for your wire components and a few other changes.

You don't. :(
At least I couldn't.

I made a mixed metal twisted coil and I couldn't seem to find a way to figure out the specs on Steam Engine, either. I made it and stuck it on the ohm meter.

Damn, still no platinum. I'm getting tired of throwing out coils when they come in too low. Guess I'll just stick to gold.

Hey CrazyChef, was just checking out your website. Nice looking stuff. If you made aliens for TC, some combo of Ni, Ti, SS, Nife52 etc., I would buy some.

I can do a SS variation, if you like. SS cores with either N80 or KA1 wrap.

Would that be considered a hybrid? I have made SS/Ni and SS/Ti clapton wire, and it works pretty good for TC. But I am too lazy and inept to make fused or alien wire with that configuration. Something in Nichrome and Kanthal tastes funny to me, maybe chromium or aluminum, or maybe just all in my head, but Ni, Ti, SS, or NiFe52 works better for me. But thank you for the offer.

Don't mean to speak out of turn here, but I've had (and others too) a lot of trouble with ss 316l/317l with the dna200 board. It seems to behave better with ss430. As to your question, I think it would be a crapshoot as the board will be reading whatever resistance (wire) is contacting the atty posts. I gave up on ss/ni and ss/ti claptons with the dna200, however the joyetech boards on the RX200, VaporFlask Stout, and Evic Mini apparently read them. I say apparently because I can't really see what is going on like you can with the dna200 and Escribe device monitor.
