Local multiplayer for Steam games are now available for anyone thanks to Steam’s Remote Play Together. The feature enters public beta today, so you can log into Steam and test the feature right now.

Remote Play Together lets Steam users join local co-op, local multiplayer, and split-screen games online. The feature allows up to four players, or more depending on the game, to play together remotely. What’s more, only one player, the host, needs to own and install the game for the feature to work.
