I was playing around with making a fruit flavored Extreme Ice. This turned out really nice:

Strawberry Ice

Strawberry TFA 6%
Strawberry Ripe TFA 6%
Cantaloupe TFA .5%
Elderberry TFA .5%
Extreme ice FW .5%

Enjoy!

Elderberry has a sweet berry taste with a hint of a sour/acidic note to it. The little bit of elderberry, in addition to the cantaloupe and the mint notes in extreme ice, come together and really make the strawberry pop, IMO. I'm not normally a menthol person, but I've blown through 30ml in just a few days, lol. The mix is good right away, but even better the next day. I get coolness on the inhale and a nice strawberry on the exhale.

Did you really mean .05% here? I didn't think TFA Cantaloupe was quite that powerful.

Thanks for the share, it looks good! :)

Good catch! I corrected the amount to read .5

Thanks!

I DIY a double mint (mostly peppermint, just a "kiss" of spearmint) with some Koolada (yes, I like it strong). I use that as my base! I will add 2-3 drops per 10ml FA Sweet Strawberry and it's WOW!!!! I do the same with Coldpressed Lime and Sweet Tangerine! Finally moving away from my mint/menthol only vapes.

Edit: I make the base in 240ml at a time. Then I keep it in 30ml bottles. I don't add the "flavor" until I'm ready to use that bottle. Keeps it fresh!

I've found that 2-3 drops of mint, even a peppermint like candy cane, will make some fruits really pop. I make a sweet cherry, for my husband, that I add just a little candy cane to. It really brightens it up nicely.

This sounds good to me in theory, but in practice I've found that after vaping something that is mostly menthol for a while, it's all I can taste--I can no longer taste any fruit additions. Do you have this?

I add no menthol. Peppermint and Koolada, a hint of spearmint.

I see you said that's true now, but I meant when you were a menthol vaper. But perhaps you vaped straight menthol only?
Never really vaped "straight" menthol. I started out with a menthol tobacco, but moved from that pretty early on. I don't like a "sweet" vape, so Halo's Kringles Curse was my favorite until I started DIY. For about a year I vaped my "Peppermint" diy. Just started adding some Lime/Tangerine/Strawberry to it, so I still get that cool vape. I know I'm weird, but it works for me.

no way, you're not weird! Or we all are. I only really wanted tobacco or menthol vapes when I first started vaping. I remember the feeling of scorn I felt when a vapeshop woman told me how much she loved some vendor's Banana Nut Bread flavor. I was like... "ew. Artificial banana-flavored smoke? How good could that possibly be?" lol... i've come a long way (baby) in the way I think about flavors since then. But my mom, who's been vaping equally long, still only vapes a couple of flavors and is totally happy with that. Oh, btw, @HeadInClouds has mentioned that FW Candy Cane and a little TFA Koolada make a perfect clone of Kringle's Curse. There's no thread dedicated to it and I'm not finding it in a search, but I bet HIC would share the percentages.
