Capcom has shown off the return of classic character Guile in Street Fighter 6.
Shown off at Summer Game Fest 2022, our first look at the latest version of Guile included a goatee'd Guile fighting Luke and Ryu in a new take on his classic Air Force Base stage. No sign of the Guile musical theme yet, though.
In a press release, Capcom wrote: "Tough as ever, Guile’s move set in Street Fighter 6 brings back some of his classic arsenal and introduces new attacks that continue his legacy of intensity and power. Challenge yourself to pull off each of the high-powered attacks with the Classic Control Type, or jump straight into the action with the brand new, simplified Modern Control Type. His moves include:
Street Fighter 6 is the long-awaited sequel in the Street Fighter franchise. As recently revealed in last week's PlayStation State of Play, Street Fighter 6 will see returning characters like Ryu and Chun-li as well as new faces.
Street Fighter 6 will feature both classic controls and a new streamlined system for new players that will evolve from the past control scheme. It wil lalso let you pull faces at your opponent while you wait for matches to start, which is just superb.

- Sonic Boom – Guile’s main projectile ability

- Solid Puncher – Fires a flurry of small Sonic Boom projectiles
- Crossfire Somersault – A brand new Super Art that fires a massive aerial slash followed by a devastating Somersault Kick"
