Stroopwafel ...aka Caramel Bites, please help me find

Please someone tell me I'm not going crazy....I finally obtained 2 bags of these from Trader Joes, but I can't seem to find the recipe I thought I bookmarked

I thought it was an @HeadInClouds recipe but I may be mistaken and site search and google are not finding it.

I checked all of HIC's recipes and couldn't find this or (assuming from the name) a german recipe the uses caramel. He makes a Zimtsterne and Schwartzwӓlder Kirschtorte. So, I asked The Google and found out that Stroopafel cookies are Dutch. Still no luck. Cross referencing Trader Joe's ad caramel, I found HIC's SPECULOOS COOKIE BUTTER (Trader Joe's or Lotus Biscoff spread).

The picture I saw of Stroopafel cookies rang a bell but I just don't know. After looking through HIC's recipes, I'm hungry, though. Hopefuly, someone can be of greater help than I.
