Okay, so my set up is and Evic-VT with a Velocity RDA, dual coil 28g with a 3mm ID at .08 ohms running at 480 degrees and 45 watts.
I'm having a hard time getting the flavor I want. I close the airflow off so just a slit shows in the cylon slots and the indirect airflow just slightly open. Airflow is lined up perfectly... just seems like I shouldn't have to run it that high to get the warmth I want with the Velocity closed off that much.
Anyone else having a hard time with a similar set up? Here's a pic of my build just for reference:
