Sub Ohm Tank Tastes Burnt

I recently purchased the eGO ONE mega sub ohm tank. I put in the new coil filled the tank with liquid and started to vape. Everything worked great for the first few days but then I started getting a burnt taste every few hits. The coils only a few days old, and I only have my IPV 3 turned up to 30watts. I bought a new coil for it and I am still having this problem. What should I do? I also have an arctic sub ohm tank which works great, the woman at the vape store told me the MEGA was better though... should I just stick with the arctic or is there something I can do to fix the MEGA./

As a fellow artic user I am gona say of course artic is the way 2 go but... make sure u soak ur new coil full of juice. When u think u have enough, put a Lil more juice on ur coils. That should do the trick. If not, u might have gotten a batch of bad coils.

The ego one mega has notoriously small juice channels (wick holes) in the coil heads. That tank will struggle with high VG juices.

I recommend the CLR rebuildable coils for ego one series. They wick much better and have adjustable wicking holes. You don't have to know how to rebuild them, they come premade and are the same price as the regular ones anyway. You can save the shells if you want to get into rebuilding later.

In the meantime, you can try poking the coils wicking holes with a needle or something similar to make the juice flow better
