SUB OHM TANK VS NON SUB OHM TANK ?????

If I buy a sub ohm tank with a RTA can I build it to the ohms I want like even above sub level 1.0 ? and can I buy a regular tank with RTA and build it to sub ohm ? I'm a noobie and confused. I def. want to start building my own coils, I am mechanically inclined but confused on what tanks to buy and what type of deck single or dual, and type of post........any info and suggestions on tanks greatly appreciated. I have a eleaf tc 40 and just bought a smok r200 I have a kanger nano, ijoy reaper,plus, and smok mini ......any do all tanks or most flexible building decks ?

okay, first off start here you can use this site to learn about coil sizes, wraps, and wire types. as for sub ohm vs above 1.0ohm that is a matter of what size and type of coils you build.. one thing to note some RTA's are not designed to go really low ohm..
anything with a velocity style deck is the best bet especially for starting out since ease of building is exceptional. A plus to add to that is something that has the option for a single coil build, as single coils are far easier to get above 1.0ohm then dual coils.
If you plan to do TC and your mod does ss316L, then the whole issue of ohms becomes pretty much moot as long as you stay above minimum and below maximum rating for the mod.
all that being said I can personally recommend based on my own usage a few tanks
the Protank 4 with the option of the single coil head
Avocado 24 great tank with single coil adapter
Aromamizer supreme lite also comes with single coil adapter
Goblin mini v3 comes with both single and dual coil decks
these are just a couple of options, I am sure others will add their personal recommendations

The way you vape determines what kind of atomizer would work best. Mouth to lung inhales or direct lung inhales. Answer that question first.

You can most definitely build above 1 Ohm on a sub ohm RTA-this is what I like about RTA's, the choice of builds is up to you.

As mentioned, a single coil tank wouldn't be a bad choice for your first tank-I love the serpent mini, it offers fantastic flavour and if you want you will get on with 1 Ohm + builds fine.

Regarding flexible building decks, for dual coils velocity style decks I find are great, and a lot of people love these. To start with though I would suggest a single coil tank-even something like the Subtank mini, which is old, but tried and tested, and comes with a RBA you can make your own coils with.
