Do subtanks kill more juice? I just refilled my tank yesterday, and its halfway done.

Is it because of my setting? My 1.2 coil.
If so whats the best setting so it doesnt run out as much.

Currently using eVic VT on Power Mode
22.7W - 5.32V on - 1.2 OHMS

Yes, subtanks consume juice faster even though you're technically not running it as a subohm at the moment. Try it with a .5 or .25 ohm coil and see how much it drinks! I have a Herakles that can empty a 3 ml tank in about 30 minutes if your chain vaping it with the dual parallel coil.

Would the settings matter? I usually chain vape.. Or should i stick with the 1.2 coil? Or .5

What tank are you using? A lower ohm coil (dual coil) will vaporize the juice faster, but a tank that's designed for sub-ohming will have a high air flow, and that means more vapor, which means more juice. You could try turning down the airflow if it's adjustable.

Im currently using the kangertech subtank, and using the coils it currently comes with but didnt use the RBA yet.

Ok, that tank does go through juice fairly fast especially if you use a .5 ohm coil, but even at 1.2 ohms it will consume way more that something like a Kayfun just because it has a more open airway. Like I said, try cutting the airflow back a little and see if that helps. You might not enjoy it as much though.

ETA: What is the VG/PG ratio of the juice you're vaping?

Just like vaping at higher wattages will deplete your your battery faster, the increased flavor and vapor you are getting from these devices will deplete your E-Liquids faster.

Moving this to clearos...

Yes, the high-power clearos like the Subtank and its brethren will burn through a lot more liquid than older-generation clearos with less airflow. More power + more air = more clouds/more liquid consumed. For that reason most folks drop their nic level when switching to the new style tanks.

Can I even still call them "new style" given that they've been out almost a year?

I use the .5 and I'm happy not caring really about juice consumption... If u are some stronger juices u can cut w VG!
