Subtank Mini RBA

Hey All!

New here and semi new to vaping, I'm rolling with a Kbox mini and a subtank mini and started using the new RBA. First time I used it and packed the cotton it worked great with the pre made coil until it went bad. I'm using 26 gauge wire and the Japanese cotton that comes with the starter kit and I cant seem to make the taste stick around. First hit it tastes delicious but once I go for the second it tastes a little like burnt cotton... I've tried different packing methods and nothing seems to click just yet and I'm getting a little frustrated. The coil is wrapped 5 times around the mini screwdriver that comes with the kit and I've messed with full length of cotton all the way to half size. Also the wattage I varied from 15w-25w and its reading .5 ohm.

Any input is much appreciated and if there's already another thread about this I apologize... I just joined a few moments ago.

this is the second version with big holes in the RBA section, yes? Personally i wick so the cotton is not too tight and not too loose. If you pull the cotton on one end or the other, it should not be so tight that it pulls the coil and bends your wire. it should not be so lose that if you turn the tank on its side, the cotton just falls out. In that middle area.

Then I cut it around where this guy draws the lines here...maybe a hair longer:

Then I take a needle and fluff the cotton. then put the chimney on, without the chimney's cap. I take the needle and sort of rake the cotton ends so the ends touch the holes, so the juice will wick straight through to the coil. Throw some juice on, put the chimney cap on and fill.

Yeah its the one with the big holes. From the looks of it I've been using way too much cotton, thanks for the speedy reply!

could be. if you make it too little cotton it will flood. but honestly just try it this way and if it floods you knowq you used too little and put a tiny bit more in. you'll get it
