Subtank Mini V3 disassemble help

hi all
i've been trying to turn open the "top cap" where u screw your rba/occ head on. i use gripping glove, tried using plier and still it wont come off, not even a nudge. this is a picture of the "top cap" being off, anyone able to share their methods on how to remove it?

Im assuming you are talking about the RBA+ deck. I stick a screw driver through the holes of the sleeve of the base to hold it. If you use pliers you are likely to bend something or warm the metal. You NEVER need to put it on super tight, so there should be no reason to need pliers to take them off.

Been there, done that. My middle section is a bit warped. But still goes togerther OK, and works great.
