Subtank (Original - Full Size) w/ mini RBA Base?

I just saw the Subtank+ and it got me wondering if I could use a mini RBA base vs. the full RBA base (not having to switch out the column)

Hopefully someone has a mini and a full and can see if it works!

No not with the original subtank you can't, think you will be able to with the new subtank plus when it comes though, as they look the same.
