Sudden Uwell Crown Issues / Dislike

Hello everyone

I would like to hear other people's experience on what I am currenlty experiencing.
So I bought Wismec RLX2/3 mod running with 2 bats and uwell crown (1)

I loved my tank and it was a great vaping pleasure.
Then I bought from a friend iJoy Limitless XL tank with the XLC4 coils.

At first I did not like the limitless that much and preffered crown, but recently my crown is acting up weird.
I mean, I put in a new coil (hopefully genuine) but the performance of the tank sucks...it is hard to drag, the taste is not as rich as it used to, the vapor is not that dense...
I vape crown at around 50-60W whereas limitless at around 100-110W. But still, the crown is not enjoyable anymore.

Could it be that I got used more powerful limitless?
Could it be I got something wrong with my crown? or the coil is not broken in properly?

really ,I am confused and sad at the same time because I used to love the crown, it was so great...now everytime I vape I feel ripped.

You need to let the coil sit over night- vape it lower wattage than amp it slowly
Second tank- better third even better!-the crown is a favorite of mine (Version 1)

Might add to prime your new coil thoroughly, make sure the cotton is saturated..fill the tank, take a few deep pulls without hitting the fire button..then start low and take a hit or two, and continue bumping up slowly to your sweet spot..I never had to let it sit overnight doing it this way..good luck!

Personally I think the uWell coils suck, I put my crown tank back in the box for months because of them. Then I found coils for it made by CoilArt. Their coils are amazing, and now the Crown is back in the rotation.

I did one better..I put my crowns (2) back on the shelf when the Smok TFV8 came out..

@sopis I had the same issue. And it's because the limitless Xl is a beast. The vapour and flavour production is insane and that causes the other tanks to look and feel stale in comparison. I personally had too much leaking issues with my XL so I came back to my crown.

Same here. I have 2 Crowns and hated the factory coils. The RBAs are great once you figure out the wicking, but my TFV8's destroy them in every way IMO.

Still good and useable tanks, but I definately prefer the Cloud Beast and Big Baby over the Crown. My Griffins are much better IMO as well.

The new uwell crown 2 coils are up to par and can compete with the cloud beast v10 coils in cloud production at 75 watts compared to the over 100 needed for the beast. I will definitely be getting their new tank and coils.

Any way to get the new coils other than through Uwell directly? I travel 90 pct of the time for work, so signing for packages isn't an option.

They should have renamed them SE-1 coils.

Thought about Uwell D1 also, but not really my thing. Maybe also Cleito 120, but I see sporadic reports that coils lose flavor after 4 days, and only last about a week. Survives the reviewers test drive, so great reviews don't always tell the story.

They could just as well have. But I think a lot of their customers went for the crown 2 in hopes of it being a successor of the OG Crown. Their coils failed them but their design was still solid in my opinion.

They at least listen to their customers to some extent hence the coil and tank revisions instead of them just giving up they created and revised the issues. This is important to me as a customer because they see that the real users of their products will voice their opinions and if they aren't heard the will leave the brand behind and never come back. I've seen so many other brands just go ahead and leave it as is, focusing on the next product or whatever.

Now Uwell has designed a coil compatible with 3 of their tanks and made a tank that fixes the issues that the other 2 have had.

I don't live in the mainstream market so we get new releases a little later so I'm unable to comment on where to find the coils.
