Suggestions for a new mod

Hey guys (and girls)...
It's been quite some time since I've been logged on here, for the very few that may even remember me, but my schedule is absolutely ridiculous right now... also hence this post entirely... I am in need of a new mod to retire my current but I have no idea what direction to look and frankly don't have alot of time to be able to do much research... so I'm hoping to be able to hear from some of you that are familiar with the mods available for purchase now...all positive input would be greatly appreciated!

I've got an older Sigelei Fuchai 200W, and love it... wouldn't retire it other than I'd like to use it as a back up because it is beginning to show it's age... I also have a Sigelei 150w touch screen, which I don't care for as much... I'm having some difficulty getting the 510 connector to make a good connection on more than one of my attys and I've accidentally touched the screen and changed it to temp control or changed my wattage considerably on more than a few occasions...

I like the bulky, rigid, durable feel of the Fuchai 200W and am looking for something that is atleast 175 watts. I just got in the Smok Cloud Beast TFV8 and am loving it so it will be my atty for whatever new mod I go with. Also Temp control is not necessary as I vape exclusively wattage mode anyway.

I'm not 100% set on the Sigelei brand but I do like the craftsmanship/ dependability of the Fuchai.

Any Suggestions?

If you don't mind spending a little more cash, the Lost Vape Triad is fantastic. It is definitely overkill if you don't do temp control, as you don't really need a DNA chipset, but it is solid, well designed, and has a good heft to it (3 batteries definitely helps). The Lost Vape Therion is supposed to be just as well built, but I don't have one to confirm that.

For a more restrictive budget, I definitely recommend the Smoant Battlestar. It's no frills, but is a solid performer. It does have TC capability if you decide you want to play around with it. It's fairly bullet proof and not as complex / difficult as the DNA TC system. Dual batteries does give it some heft, but not like the Triad.

Thanks for the input... I think the Hohm Wrecker G2 is my most likely choice.. I'm just having a hard time locating one to buy without it being $135... I know I can get it cheaper because I've seen it but alot of places are out of stock...
I also like the Smok H-Priv but don't like the reviews on the battery door... looks like something I'd break lol

I've tried TC but have always preferred wattage mode... maybe I'm weird lol... I'll take a look at these mods, thanks for your input!

I agree, based on what I've looked at the Hohm Wrecker G2 it looks to be what I"m looking for, the size looks to be spot on... I want a mod that I can tell i'm holding and not going to break it... the wattage output could be a little higher but I figure 151 watts should be plenty as I usually vape around 130 anyway.. I'm just having a hard time finding it at a reasonable price and in stock at the same time...

Great welcome to the HT family here. May I suggest you read the excellent new owners guide @mjag created. While the G2 is in fact an awesome mod it does have a bit of a learning curve. The new users guide I am linking will answer 95% of your questions.

I have 9 of them with no issues with the battery cover.
It just slides into place and works well.
