Suggestions for adding color to a e-juice.

Hello.

I don't mind what color an juice is as long as it isn't distasteful.
And one of my regularly used recipes starts out with a yellow color but over time, a couple of weeks it turns brown/yellow and looks sort of dirty(clear but dirty) and I want to explore whether there are some additives I can add to change the color.

I would think that this subject can be sort of uncertain because you don't want to add unnecessary chemicals/compounds to e-liquids, but are there any color inducing additives that are considered safe to use?

Regards

Use less colored ingredients. If you want clear. Maybe leave the nic out. That could be what's darkening the juice also. I don't see how adding more chemicals will improve things over all

If your juice becomes brown and you add color you will just make it even darker

I'm sure you've noticed that your flavorings range in color from clear to dark in color.
Coffee, Tobacco, Chocolate, Caramel, + a few others.
Thinking some may already have some coloring added anyway, as they're made for food use.
Some brands of flavorings are more clear than others, but many are close to the same thing.

NIC that steeps for awhile also turns them darker, and the higher the amount is the darker they get IMO.
So it goes without saying, if your NIC isn't clear to begin with, it might venture into darker territory.

I've only had a few that have gone to a dark golden color, usually after a month of steeping.

And as wally mentioned above, adding any coloring will just make it darker.
Plus I'm not too keen on the idea of vaping even more "unknowns" myself either.

I'd prefer if juices had no color added to them.
Some chemicals used in flavors have their own color, ranging from light yellow to dark brown and that's the only color acceptable.
If a juice is red/blue/purple/green I won't use it.

If your juice's taste is great then forget about color. By the way, welcome to our beloved community (vapingunderground). :)

100% agree. Adding dyes or coloring is just gimmicky. In fact, several companies like Loranns, Flavourart, TFA, etc etc have made clear versions of certain flavors with vaping in mind.
