DC's handling of the "Truth" storyline in the various Superman comics has been a little weird. Books like Greg Pak's Action Comics and Batman/Superman pick up in a time after Superman has lost most of his powers and had his identity outed by Lois lane. Meanwhile, Gene Luen Yang's Superman is hanging back and exploring the lead-up to these disastrous events. It'll likely be a couple months before we actually learn what transpired during Superman's downfall. The nonlinear timeline doesn't necessarily do the franchise as a whole any favors, but this issue does establish Yang as a worthy replacement for Geoff Johns.
