Wondering if anyone has experience using the lite in single coil mode with the plug.no matter how little wick I put in it I get dry hits ,its almost like something is wrong with the pressure in the tank and the juice won't force up to the wick.Any insight would be appreciated

Hard to tell what you're doing wrong from your description.
Vertical or horizontal build?

My method of wicking horizontal is to make the wick loose enough in the coil by moving it from side to side then cut both sides to around 1-1.5 cm, fluff it then tuck it from each side under the coil one behind the other so that they cover both holes.
The wick only covers the holes gently and is not to be stuffed inside them.

Using mine (not lite) with dual fused Claptons at 60W no leaking and no dry hits.

experience using the lite in single coil mode with the plug

Not yet. Like NIghtshard I threw in a dual.

But I got a second one yesterday, and I have some SS Clapton wire I want to try out.
I was surprised I didn't have an issue fitting two 3mm ID coils, so I'm tempted to try the new wire as a single.

Keep us posted on yours though... I got the Lites intending to use the plug.

And like he said... don't plug the juice holes, just lay the tails over them.
It's so simple, so RDA-like... even a "Jim" can do it. :p

I think it's gotta be a problem with the plug,I bet if I just used dual coils it would work, even when I was using the bellus with the plug I would get dry hits, not as bad as this though.the cotton gets completely dry

I'm notorious for overwicking (dry hits if I use even "normal" voltage levels) and only made one or two single coil builds in my Bellus. But I don't recall it being "unusual" in how they performed (I really should dig that thing out and give it some love).

And "cotton going completely dry"... would be very unusual. o_O

Even as new as the tank is... if it were a design flaw I think we would have heard.
Unless you're really one of the first to use the plug. :D

I'm rather stumped to be honest, and I'm not set up to build the new tank at the moment.
I will do a single coil, just not today (most likely).

*the other thing I'm notorious for is forgetting to reopen the JFC after I refill. :p
Happened to me once or twice and because of the way it's designed you still get around 1 ml of juice even when it's closed.
So you vape on it for a while and only later on get a dry hit and realise it was closed all along.

Only had the Lite a couple days so I haven't done it yet, but I do it at least a couple times a week on my Bachelors.

I laugh because it's actually a good thing.
It proves that the JFC is tight... and that TC is working. ;)

At least... that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :p

I want to test it on the Lite, just haven't yet (I'll try it now).
I'd be happy if Jag's problem is something so simple.
It'd be the best resolution I can think of so far. :(

I do open the jfc,and get plenty of bubbles rising to the top,but for some reason it doesn't reach the wicks, the wick literally remains dry,it's the weirdest thing, never had this sort of problem before. Thanks for the replies everyone

Weird.

I'm looking at my unused one right now...

I wondered if the tank body might have been assembled misaligned, but if you get bubbles then that's probably not the case.
It's a fairly straightforward design... once the juice clears the tank, there's nothing to stop it pooling beneath the deck, and the juice holes.

I tried misaligning the deck, but even if you get the bottom cap screwed on as far as it'll go... it doesn't change or block the juice flow path.

Well... I'll get around to trying it eventually, but in the meantime you should build a dual and see if the problem goes away.

It'll be stunning, and troubling, if it does. o_O

Using dual coil, 7 wraps, 28 g SS 430, .48 ohm and she is working quite nicely on my SMY 75

Yes... we know it works in dual coil mode.

j/k... :p

I started mine on a VT133 but didn't try on my SDNAs because I knew there'd be overhang.
How bad is it?

I've since had it on my Picos and damn... it's right up against the battery cap.
This diameter... and no more.

:D

No overhang at all. It looks like they were made for each other. I really like the supreme and was disappointed when the regular looked so bad on the SMY because of the overhang. Pretty damn same vaping experience with the lite and it looks good on the smaller mods.

So I threw in a dual coil and it does in fact wick perfectly, very odd it doesn't wick at all with a single coil with the plug.I should also state I'm using the 5ml tube instead of the 2ml because of juice consumption with the dual,I can't see how that would be the problem but who knows.very odd

Pretty fancy ;) did you set it up with escribe? I don't know how to do escribe just using it with the presets.
Yes I did. You can get similar results with the TC Boost profile. You may just need to change the material. I don't remember what the original material was. You can do that on the mod without escribe.
