SX Mini M Class (cosmetically flawed) ***SOLD***

I have a SX Mini M Class that I purchased from Coval Vapes and it has never been upgraded. I have original box and all contents that came with it new minus the bag.

The body paint is coming off horribly. The paint on these were always an issue and I could of gotten it replaced under warranty at one time for the paint, but never followed through and just stuck a silicone cover on it. I will include that as well but it is tearing on the bottom corner from being moved for battery changes.

The frame is in good shape not beat to hell it is strictly crappy paint. I also think the silicone caused it more harm to the body paint as well. The body paint scrapes off with finger nail. Pitiful.

Put the silicone on and it is good, score a jwrap and all is good. I have some 3m sheets of carbon, wood grain, and colors somewhere and will include one if I can and you could cut a piece out for the body if you want. If you were crafty you could do the frame as well.

Other than the body paint no issues in function. Works as good as the day I got it, and the frame itself is not abused.

Sad thing about this mod is it rarely got taken out into the world, but it looks worse than most that did lol.

I am thinking $46 shipped as that will cover $40 for the mod and leave me 6 bucks to ship it with tracking. And again I have all original packaging and unused firmware cord and all that jazz minus the gift bag.

If I was into single batt devices I would just continue to shelf it and if there are no takers then I may just cut the carbon wrap and do that, or possibly sand down the body and do something to it.

Where the paint's coming off... is it rough? Would it need sanding before wrapping, to make sure the wrap stayed on?

I would recommend giving it a light sand just to make sure because the paint scrapes off with the finger nail, so adhering will probably suck unless the remaining paint was removed.

Nah, I'm afraid it's quite beyond me, to try and cut it perfectly to fit. I'm considering another blue-ish wrap, got another blue drip tip, and I've never been completely thrilled with the "blue ice" wrap I put on my blue iPV Mini, wanted to try another blue one. That stainless frame should look nice with blue, and my blue-with-white-stripes acrylic driptip.

I hear ya. I did one before and it is a bit time consuming. I then decided after buying a wrap that I could use it as a template. It was the wood grain I used.

I have another but I am not sure my wife wants to cut loose with it. If she does I will contact you before listing. Hers has the opposite cosmetic issue. Her body is fine, but her frame was black and the paint is all scratched up around the screen and more wear on the bottom from being set down.
