Not seeing a lot of people talking about this tank, but given the lack of single coil sub-ohm options out there I thought I'd throw this up.

Got mine a few days ago (took 2 weeks) and I gotta say...I'm impressed overall. For the less then $12 I paid after the coupon code it's pretty damn solid value that's worth a look for those out there looking for something stupid simple:

- Fairly large and cupcake as they come to build on deck.

- Wicks pretty well, almost of par with the Aromimizer RTDA. This aspect was particularly important to me btw, as I don't really have a lot of patience for "this tank work greats if/when you get the wicking *just* right" stuff. Put 3 different coil builds in it so far, with no real effort put into the wicking beyond a simple cut/paste to the deck mind you, and nailed all 3 first try. .5-.8 with both Kanthal/SS in power mode, keeps up solid at the 25'ish range i vape with it.

- Flavor is pretty solid, which says something given i generally find everything to taste muted. That I actually notice a difference was kind of a win in itself. I usually vape a little higher then the above 25w on the RTDA, but the better flavor I get on this leaves me enjoying the extra flavor I don't get on the RTDA when turning it down a tad.

- Non-adjustable airflow, which while a con wasn't a big deal for me personally because i just always tend to vape any tank i ever use wide open anyway. For those that want an airflow upgrade to their Subtank Mini, but don't don't want to go full blown RTDA, that is probably the best description I can give to anybody who happens to be familiar with both tanks. For me...it hits a sweet spot that doesn't find me wishing i had more.

The above said, I do find it to have 2 major cons:

- They still are not selling replaceable glass tanks for it, so if it breaks you are either screwed for now or playing the hunt down something with matching dimensions game.

- The top portion of the tank, which was supposed to come fully apart, came with the o-rings essentially glued to the tank. On mine at least. That sucker isn't coming off, at least without taking the risk of breaking the glass off to do it. Which sucks extra because i have some black O-rings i'd love to replace those light blue ones with.

Anyway, it's worth a look as a solid single coil option imo.

Thanks for the review. Maybe I'll pick on up on my next FT order. Kinda a no brainer at the price.

Nice review. I just saw this and thought it might be a nice, inexpensive single coil RTA option. Keep us updated if you see replacement glass or learn of another that fits it. I wish there was a black one as well

It looks like they used the Monster V3 base for this except they changed the thread to an o-ring for glass, nice!

Hi. I got this RTA but I don't seem to get the wicking right. I always end up getting flooded.
I use 0.28mm kanthal at about 1.5ohms and vape at 10 watts (like my subtank mini V3). I tried to wick it this way or that, but after I stop my first very good Vaping session I leave it lying and it floods the place.
So, how can I wick it, any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Use a 6/5 wrap/3mm ID coil, put some wick in the channels not just laying on top of the deck. If you get dry hit, too much in channels. I use rayon.

Thanks cobalt!
So the secret is some wick in the channels. I'll try it later.
Beginners question: I use a 2.5mm rod to wrap my coil. What will be different if I wrap it at 3mm? More eliquid so more vapor production I guess. Anything else?
Thanks again.

I got my black Wine tank in three days ago from FT. So far I'm really enjoying this tank. It came very clean, no oil feel or smell. I took it apart to wash before using and it all came apart very easily. The glass came off with a simple twist, didn't have the stuck on issues that others had earlier. The quality of the tank seems very nice, especially for the price. I put a simple NI200 build 0.17ohms, organic cotton, and paired it with my SX Mini M Class. It took about half a tank of fiddling with to dial in the settings, but once I did, it was wonderful. I'm getting really great flavor with this tank, I've been very impressed with it.

I changed out the drip tip, I'm using a delrin DT from a STM. I changed it, although well made, I'm not a fan of metal DT and the diameter was smaller than I prefer as well. I'm somewhere between a MTL and direct lung vaper, so a tad more airflow would have been perfect, but not a real big con for me. The space between the chamber and glass is a little tight for glass droppers, just have to be careful with those. It can be a little fiddly getting the deck threads to grab the chamber, but again just a small niggle.

It's easy to build on, juice channels are good size and it wicks beautifully. It's a simple elegant tank, looks great and have been getting amazing flavor. I've run about 10 tanks through it so far and it has been performing beautifully. For the price, it's a great tank. I'll probably pick up another and stash for the vapocalypse.
