Im sure you have all seen the navy nest style of wicking for the kayfun lite,,,,well I was having trouble getting a consistant wick in my Taifun GT,so I thought hmmm,ill try this on my taifun,,,works like a champ,no dry hits,no flooding

That looks nice. I usually have my wick wiggled around inside, but do still leave some sticking out the sides. I was beginning to wonder if I had too much cotton choking off the air flow, but I'm assuming you are getting decent airflow with this.

no wick sticking out the sides,i just took a whole ball of cotton and unrolled it and tore off strips the whole length and rolled them up ,stick one end through the coil and keeping it twisted like a piece of silica ,just keep going around the deck tucking it in as you go ,when its full just cut it off,,,,,,,it takes a lot of cotton,as in almost a half a ball,,,,,,i hope this makes sense to ya

o yea,,to answer the rest of your question,,, im not having any problem with airflow,im using the big airflow insert that came with the atomizer

Nice. I can see that working. GT can be such a fussy wicker. Wish I had had that option on my GS. Finally gave up on it.
