What tanks do you guys like when vapping at higher watts? (50W+)

My personal favorite is my Atlantis 2 (Running at 70-80W) but I am looking to buy a few more tanks to play with, I have a Clone Atlantis Mega coming, I got the clone since I already have a authentic Atlantis 2.

I like the mutation x4 since the airflow is highly customizable

I love the HorizonTech Arctic tank. You can use standard kanthal .5 or .2 ohm coils in it, or if you have a temp controlled mod, you can get .2 ohm nickel coils for it. Another fave is the Joyetech Delta II. That has several sub ohm coil options, as well as nickel and titanium coils available. These two tanks have performed extremely well for me, and produce huge amounts of vapor. I don't have much time for making coils these days, so these two tanks have been my go-to. The Joyetech EgoOne mega is nice too, holds lots of juice (4.5ml I believe). But I don't like the coils as much as the previous two mentioned. Lots of folks love the Kanger Sub, but personally I don't think there's enough air flow or vapor production.

Keep in mind I'm using pre built atomizers with these tanks, not hand made.

Hope this helps!

I have the arctic also. But I just hate the .2 ohm coil that can be used with the tank. The taste is just horrible. Just stick with the dual .5 coil that it comes with. But yeah this tank produces tons of vapor if you open the 4 air holes all the way. I think riptrippers made a review about this tank on YouTube. Check it out

Funny, I prefer the .2 ohm coils. Can handle more power and in my opinion produces more vape than the .5.

Maybe it was the batch of .2 ohm coils I got.. But I never had a good experience with the .2 in terms of flavor. For me the .5 is good enough. I stopped using the arctic though. For some reason I change coils on that thing every 2-3 days. The aspire Atlantis the first one has really good taste and vapor productions especially since they changed it to Japanese cotton. The new coils are good.

Cat remember when they went organic. But the .2ohm Ni coils have the organic cotton too. Love those.

Sorry for taking a moment to get some "Smartass" out my system.

Haven't "Cats" always been organic?

I just checked both of mine and since magnets will not stick to them (they really did not enjoy that test) I think both of mine are indeed still organic in nature.

Another tank worth mentioning is starre tank or starre pro. Huge airflow and dual vertical coils. You can crank this up and get great flavor. Silo Beast is another tank with massive air flow. All can tank the various sizes Atlantis style coils

I like both the Herakles and the ijust 2 tanks. The Herakles is a little better on flavor/vapor, the ijust has better juice capacity(5.5ml). Both have TC coils available, and can also be used with Atlantis coils.

The Arctic is a good tank capable of the wattage you seek. In fact, I happen to have one for sale with extra coils over in the Sales area ;-)

I like the tank...good flavor and good clouds. You can push 100W into the .2 ohm coils. The only reason that I am moving it is because I like to standardize and Kanger Subtanks are my preferred tanks......for now....

I just recently purchased a Plume Veil as my first RDA, still waiting on it to arrive in the mail. I do think I will defiantly be grabbing one of the Mutations tho after I play with the Plume Veil for a few weeks.

I just got my hands on an Aspire Triton. Pretty new to the market. Aspire isn't making any temp sensing coils for it yet, but there's one .15ohm nickel coil made by eleaf that works with it.

Can handle some high power with the stock Aspire coil that comes with it, it's a kanthal .4ohm.

It's a top fill, which is nice. Combine that with a solid .15ohm Ni, and you're blowin dragon clouds. It also has an air flow adjustment up by the drip tip, giving you the ability to really dial it in to fit your vape preference.

There are NI200 coils for any Atlantis tank including triton as well. Made by vaporshark. 4 big airflows in the base and huge ID coils. You can really get those cranked up

Yeah these Ni eleaf .15ohm coils have a gold base and only two posts that connect at the bottom, leaving one massive hole for amazing air flow. And the gold base makes for very accurate readings on your mod.

Which of the two Aspire tanks, Atlantis V2/Mega vs Triton is better for cloud chasing?

Haven't gotten my hands on an Atlantis 2 or Mega, but I'd imagine they'd all be pretty similar as far as vapor production goes. They all take the same types of coils, so tank design is the only factor affecting different cloud production (which would be minimal).

I like the design of the Triton, does it have the same kind of anti leak design as the Atlantis?

The top twists to set it to "fill mode" or "vape mode". When it's twisted closed for vape mode, the fill holes are covered up. If you leave any extra juice in the top part where you fill, the excess juice can leak even though the fill holes are sealed off. I'm still playing with it, haven't had it long.

The air flow isn't quite as good as the Arctic or Delta II in my opinion, but a solid tank so far.

Top pic has it twisted open for fill mode, and bottom pic has it twisted closed for vape mode. You can see in the bottom pic that if you have excess juice in there, it can easily leak out through the drip tip.

I dig my maganus. I'm surprised there hasn't been any love so far for it. It's become one of my go to 's. I have that and my Arctic on me every day. Run both at 70w w fresh coils. The Maganus has been accidentally chain vaped at 100w for A few min without a dry hit. Only on a fresh coil tho. My zephyrus with the rba finds its way into the rotation often too.

What coils are you running in your Atlantis2? Anything temp controlled? Cause I'm still in love with my Arctic running .2 Nickels :)

There arctic nickel .2 temp control coils are awesome. Something everyone needs to remember is it's not the actual tanks that's gonna be able to handle high wattage. It's the coils that determine how hot you can run em. Any tank that can take a sub ohm coils like .2's will by nature be able to handle some pretty high power.
