Quentin Tarantino's next project may be headed to television in the form of a miniseries adaptation of Elmore Leonard's Forty Lashes Less One.
"I own the rights to this book
wanted to adapt for a while, and the time may have come for me to tackle
," Tarantino told Premiere magazine. "This is Forty Lashes Less One,
Elmore Leonard... which could be my third western.

project to TV, in the form of a mini-series of four or six hours."
QT's film Jackie Brown was also based on a Leonard novel. Tarantino's latest project, The Hateful Eight, opens this Christmas and will feature a special 70mm roadshow version that includes an extra six minutes of footage, as well as an overture and intermission.
