Tc coil question

I'm running a kbox 120 with lg he4 batteries, and a vixen tank. I came across some playboy tc clapton coils on sale and bought several boxes. Mostly .3's and a couple boxes of .5's. The .5's fire great with great clouds and flavor. The problem is the .3's just don't fire anywhere near as good. They just don't ramp up as well. I have seven boxes of these things so I'm wondering if I need better batteries or a bigger mod? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What are you running the .3's at vs the .5's?

I don't know what to tell you then bro. I'll be totally honest I don't own any mods where you can't adjust the wattage in tc. Sorry man.

Yeah, .3 prebuilt coils on a kanger tc is a no go, especially at 80 plus watts the .3 coils are to hot running. Only downside to kanger boxes with tc, no control of the wattage they auto set max watts. Only way to compensate is to pull longer than with the .5 coils, almost 2x as long

If you're going to do TC I would recommend going with an FSK, Yihi, or DNA board. Imo all 3 of them do TC extremely well.
