Ok so I recently purchased a koopor plus 200w and I was wondering what the best temp controlled tanks out there were. With lots and lots of airflow. I have an rda but can I build with something other than kanthal on it? Will that be ok?

There are currently only two mods out there, that are capable of TC for Kanthal wire. Both are from the same company Hohmtech.
Wire you can use for TC are typically Ni200, Ti (Titanium), and Stainless Steel (SS). There aren't "Temp Control" tanks. However, there are many tanks, that have either replacement coil heads, that can be utilized for TC mode. Therefore, in order to give you more advice on tanks, we would need to know, what it is you're looking for in that tank, e.g. use of replacement coil heads, building your own coils, flavor, or clouds, MTL, or DL?

Ok what is mtl and dl?I like to build my own...just cause it's cheaper. And I like the clouds flavor comes and goes by the end of each bottle...but the clouds stay

MTL, mouth to lungs, like you'd smoke a cigarette. DL, direct to lungs, inhaling directly into the lungs.

If you like to build your own coil(s), look into RTA, or RDTA. Depending on the wire you'll use to build the coil(s), you'll be able to use the in TC.

One of the simplest and best tanks to use for TC would be the Original Crown with the .25 coil. It's well made produces great flavor and nice clouds. The .25 coil can be used in TC or Wattage mode and the coils are readily available everywhere. For a newbie it's a great tank. You can get it at most places for $20 and under online. Start off with something like that and you can see what you like from there.

SS, ni200, and titanium are all used for tc. The general consensus is most people like SS. You can run SS in both wattage and tc mode. Ni200 only runs in tc never in wattage mode.

Stainless?

316L SS is what I use, there's a few variations of SS and that will matter. Some mods have custom templates you can adjust for the materials, some have presets and then you have to use the correct type of SS. I'd recommend Stainless over the Ti and Ni as it can be used in wattage mode as well, so if something gets wonky you can always just go simple.
