Unless you're using an atomizer with known drift issues *cough*kayfun4*cough*I'm not too familiar with your particular mod, but most mods don't require a resistance lock. it's better not to lock the resistance when in TC mode.
Can you explain..... because I have always heard to opposite..I'm not too familiar with your particular mod, but most mods don't require a resistance lock. it's better not to lock the resistance when in TC mode.

Ok.. must be a DNA thing then.. because if i don't lock my pico I constantly get the new vs old coil message. Guess the difference is if mod is regulating based on actual vs basis resistance.I don't know the reason why but with DNA's and Wismec / Joyetech the resistance does not to be locked in TC mode. I always heard the opposite as well but I guess its not necessary. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but don't the Yihi chips need to be locked?
I never have to lock resistance on any of my mods. It's more common to not have to lock resistanceOk.. must be a DNA thing then.. because if i don't lock my pico I constantly get the new vs old coil message. Guess the difference is if mod is regulating based on actual vs basis resistance.

On YiHi boards, the up and down buttons are pressed to read resistance... I don't think it's a lock, so to speak.I never have to lock resistance on any of my mods. It's more common to not have to lock resistance
